Forgetting and Forgiving

Forgetting things – like this blog.

As I said, we didn’t really need a new blog online… but it is fun to have it and a commitment to maintain.

A commitment that I, eventually, failed.

And now I want to forgive myself. I am not good at doing that, so I have to practice. And I am not good at keeping things pending, I don’t like that. But like a stream of words, I have to fill this blank page up. I quit using ChatGPT, even just to clean up my thoughts, because it makes them artificious and I don’t like that.

I prefer my old school writing with long and sinuous sentences – like Ska, the Jungle Book’s snake. We were talking about songs in cartoons at dinner today, and my daughter was complaining that there were no songs from that movie in a show where she went with her school. I am impressed that she still remembers that, we may have seen it no more than a couple of times. But kids remember everything. And they are good at forgiving, better than adults. I should probably learn from her.

I will write it down, or I can forget it!
