There is something I only understood by moving around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you grow up in one place, it is easy to believe that your way is the right one. Not because you are arrogant, but because you don\u2019t know anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then you meet people who are different. Different habits, different values, different ways of thinking, different struggles. At first, it feels strange, uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But most of the time, they are not wrong. They are just different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And so are you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acceptance starts from here. You are not the centre of the world. Just one story among many*<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This doesn\u2019t mean you have to agree with everything, actually the opposite. But before judging, you should try to listen. Before reacting, try to understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leave space for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is not easy. It has never been easy for me. Your instinct will often tell you that you are right. Mine did too, many times. And I got it wrong more than once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But when you listen, really listen, something changes. You learn faster. You become empathetic, connect better, and grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So remember this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you meet someone different, pause. Give them space. Listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
